Yesterday, Friday, May 20, 2016, at the presence of a large audience has finally opened the last section of the new suggestive sea promenade of Framura, which allows easy access to the Vallà and Arena beaches. Before its construction it was necessary to climb up to the hamlet of Anzo and then descend along a beautiful but steep path, which remains feasible, but that now it will be attended only by the most accustomed to walking. “This work was carried out with great effort and great skill. It ‘was in fact built on a cliff overlooking the sea and it was not easy at all”, said the Mayor of Framura Andrea Da Passano, shortly before cutting the inaugural ribbon. “And thanks to the impeccable work of everyone, from engineers to manual workers, and the administration’s tenacity that we can now take this wonderful walk, made with the aim of improving the tourism offer of this part of the eastern Liguria“, then he continued. Also the Regional Councillor for Infrastructure Giacomo Giampedrone, present yesterday at the inauguration, wanted to underline the importance of this work, “made respecting the natural characteristics of this stretch of coast but while enhancing this area from the infrastructural point of view”. After the ribbon cutting, also occurred in the presence of the mayors of Levanto, Deiva Marina and Vernazza, the festivities are then started.
The new sea promenade starts from Torsei beach, reached via the underpass of the station, not far from the characteristic port, where it ends the pedestrian and cycle track that connects Framura to Bonassola and Levanto. Now only missing you! Come and discover it!
