Framura is located in the new district of the “Baie del Levante” (Eastern Bays), which includes also Levanto, Bonassola, Deiva Marina, Moneglia and Sestri Levante, with its heartbreaking “Baia del Silenzio”(Bay of Silence).
Our charming marina is connected to the neighbouring towns of Bonassola and Levanto through the beautiful pedestrian and cycle track “Creuza de Ma” (“sea path” in Genoese idiom).
Framura is located in a strategic position to visit Cinque Terre (Monterosso: 10 min. by train – Riomaggiore: 30 min. by train) and the “Golfo dei Poeti “ (Gulf of Poets) (Portovenere: 74 km. – Lerici: 55 km.), but it remains outside of mass tourism, in a quiet setting, surrounded by nature.
From Framura you can also easily reach Portofino (50 km.) and Genova (64 km.), with its beautiful “Porto Antico” (old port) and the Aquarium (the widest in Europe).
Not to be underestimated is the opportunity to visit the nearby Val di Vara, the ” Bio Valley” (Varese Ligure: 42 km.) and Val di Magra, in the heart of Lunigiana (Luni: 57 km.), with their characteristic medieval villages.
Starting from Framura you can also easily reach the historical cities of Tuscany (Lucca: 106 km. – Pisa: 108 km. – Florence: 180 km. – Siena: 245 km.), as well as the main towns of Emilia-Romagna (Parma : 155 km. – Modena: 206 km. – Bologna: 243 km.). However, from Framura you can also easily reach Lombardy (Milan: 200 km.) and Piedmont (Turin: 233 km.).
